How I store my Makeup Brushes

I wanted a way for my brushes to be stored properly but still look pretty. I decided to buy some Apothecary Jars, I like them because they fit a lot of brushes plus they have a lid so they will not get dusty or dirty. The jars I got are from Pier 1 $29.99, but they also have them at Home Goods, Michaels, TJ Max and all of those craft stores. I filled them with Diamond Vase Filler from Michaels $5.99 (they always have a 50% or 40% off coupon that you can print from their website), which I actually need to put a little more. I then finished them up with a cute little bow. Hope you guys like it =)

Benefit Cosmetics "They're Real" Mascara Review & Swatch

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my review on Benefit's "They're Real" Mascara. I've tried many mascaras in the past and I've never really liked any of them... The only mascara that really worked for me was Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara, it doesn't flake, has a great black color and curls my lashes. Also the great thing is it's only like $4 haha. However it has now been replaced by the Benefit Cosmetics mascara, I love it!! The brush is great at seperating the lashes, covering them evenly and adding dramatic length and volume. I haven't got any lumps and the product doesn't flake which is awesome! The wear is incredible as well it stays on looking perfect for the entire day. If you've been looking for an amazing mascara I highly recommend this one, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it! They sell it at sephora.com and it retails for $23. They also make a Mini Size if you want to try it out first. The Mini retails for $10. Let me know what you think!  What is your favorite Mascara?? Leave me a comment =)

Halloween Dining Table

Hello everyone!! Today I decided to start decorating for Halloween! It's a little bit early but hey it's my favorite holiday so I went for it! I always find the best Halloween decor at Target and they change it every year which is great target.com! I saw a lot of great stuff at Zgallerie zgallerie.com and Pier 1 pier1.com as well so check those places out! I started with my dining table. I placed an orange table cloth which has bats and dragons on it. I purchased it at Target a few years ago but I had never used it. I placed different placemats for each person, I thought it looked kind of nice that way. I used black napkins that have a skull on them and a silver napkin ring which I purchased from Zgallerie. The skull plates were also from Target but they are also from a few years ago so they are not available anymore. I did checkout the Halloween section at Target this year and it has some really nice plates this year and a lot of skull decor! On the table I also have skull salt and pepper shakers which are from Target. The black and white vase is from Zgallerie and I purchased black roses to put in the vase. The roses are from Target. Can't wait to start decorating the rest of my place! Enjoy!! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment =)

Avon Glimmersticks Lip Liner & Glimmersticks Diamond Eye Liner Review and Swatches

Hello everyone!! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but I got married a little over a week ago and of course we had to go on our Honeymoon! I will post a blog with pictures of my wedding and our honeymoon a little later. Today I wanted to show a couple swatches on AVON Glimmersticks Lip Liners and Eye Liners. They are such a great product and the price is unbeatable!! I bought 2 AVON Glimmersticks Lip Liners, one in Red Brick and the other in Simply Spice. They apply smoothly and last at least 8 hours on me. They are retractable so no sharpening is required, which I love! For the Eye Liners I purchased 2 of the Glimmersticks Diamond Eye Liners which have a bit of sparkle in them. I bought Smoky Diamond and Sugar Plum, they have a very nice smooth application and last at least 8 hours on me. These are as well retractable so no sharpening is required. Both the Lip Liners and Eye Liners retail for $7 but there are always sales with Avon so I actually purchased them for $2.99! With this price how can you not try them out?!? Enjoy!!

Wedding Day!!!

Hello everyone!! Well the day is finally here.. I'm Getting Married!!! I'm super excited and of course nervous but I wanted to show you a couple other things I purchased for my special day! I must say Etsy is really amazing for finding super cute additions to your wedding. They have EVERYTHING!! One day i was just clicking through the Wedding section and saw these adorable "Wedding Hangers", you can have your new name written on them or just "Bride" which is the one I liked. There's also plain wood hangers or they do a bling out version which I thought was awesome haha! Here's a link to the person I bought my Wedding Hanger from.. She did a great job and I received it in no time http://www.etsy.com/people/rockabuycreations. Here's a picture of my hanger.. I didn't show the dress because that's still a surprise =)

My Wedding Hanger with Black Ribbon

The other thing I purchased from Etsy was my Bridal Garter Set.. There were also thousands to choose from but I found the set that went perfect with my color scheme. They are so well made and have a large Swarovski Crystal in the center of the bow on both of the garters. The material feels luxurious and silky. One is supposed to be tossed and the other one is the one you keep. I won't be doing any tossing but it's nice they include 2. Here is a link to the person I bought it from http://www.etsy.com/people/sycomom67

Wedding Shoe Stickers

Hello everyone!! Well tomorrow is the big day and I wanted to show you these really cute stickers I purchased on ETSY for my Wedding Shoes. They are super cute crystal stickers that say "I DO" but there are many different kinds and colors to choose from. These however were my favorite. The camera doesn't really show the true color of these stickers, they are more of a Tiffany Blue but they look much bluer in the pictures. It's also going to work as my "Something Blue". I clearly couldn't leave my husband to be without matching stickers for his shoes, so I got him the ones that say "Help Me". I thought it was funny, I'm sure he won't be as thrilled for the stickers as I was haha! Here are a couple pictures.. Sorry i forgot to take a picture of the "I DO" stickers in their package.. Guess I was so excited I rushed to put them on =).. The "I Do" Sticker cost $16 and the "Help Me" Sticker cost $14. Wedding Headpiece

Hello everyone!! I wanted to share with you the headpiece I will be wearing on my Wedding Day! I purchased it on ETSY and there were thousands of different styles to choose from, but I instantly fell in love with this piece. It is actually a headband that ties with ivory ribbon (I believe you can pick the color of the ribbon). It has a lot of crystals in a beautiful design. I chose the double strand version but you can also choose from the single strand of crystals.. Clearly for me the more the better haha! She makes the ribbon very long so you can cut it at whatever length you need. I won't be wearing a veil so thought this headband would work as a great headpiece. I purchased it for $118. Here is the link to the seller on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRedMagnolia?ref=seller_info.. What do you think? What kind of headpiece did you wear on your special day?? Leave me a comment =)

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you my favorite Chanel Cream Eyeshadows. They are the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre. I have 3 of them which are from the Fall/Winter collection of last year but I believe they are permanent. They come out with new colors for the seasons but I believe these 3 colors are good to have for all year use. They come in a little tub and they each come with their own little eye brush. I myself don't really use it, I prefer to use my finger or a Real Techniques eyeshadow brush. The formula on these is very long lasting and shimmery. I always put it over a primer (I use MAC "Painterly" Paint Pot) and never see any creasing. You can apply them as a sheer coat or build it up for a dramatic look. These can also be used as eyeliner using a smaller brush. Overall I really enjoy these shadows and am looking forward for new colors... I really like one of the new colors "Riviere" and will probably be purchasing it soon. These cream shadows retail at $36. Do you love this product? Are you going to give them a try? Let me know in the comment box! Enjoy!
